In the last two weeks, the Argentines Maximiliano Moralez (New York City FC) and Sebastian Blanco (Portland Timbers) suffered knee injuries and will miss the next few months of competition, so their return to the courts will not be seen until 2021. Blanco suffered the ruptured anterior ligament in his right knee and he will not compete again for the next six months. On the other hand, the degree of Moralez's injury was not reported so far.

Another of the stars injured in the last time is Josef Martinez. The Atlanta United striker suffered a torn anterior ligament in his right knee in the first game of 2020. In addition to the Venezuelan, the other injured are: Ike Opara (Minnesota United), Carles Gil (New England) and Carlos Vela (Los Angeles FC). Eduardo Atuesta, also from Los Angeles FC, returned to the field last Sunday after missing for five games.

Without these key players, your teams are not at their best. Without Martinez, Atlanta United has only won 2 of the last 10 games. Los Angeles FC lost 3 of 4 without Vela and Atuesta, Minnesota without Opara has a 3-4-2 record and New England without Gil (team leader in goals and assists in 2019) only scored six goals in seven games.
