LAFC has Carlos Vela as its team emblem and although he is injured he uses it to promote all kinds of advertisement. The Designated Player this time was chosen by LAFC to wish the Los Angeles Dodgers luck before the World Series game. Not only do they wish them luck but they asked for something very special.

The city of Los Angeles is having a great time in relation with their sports teams. The Los Angeles Dodgers are in the MLB World Series and LAFC are one step away from securing their place in the MLS playoffs to try to achieve the MLS Cup. That is why the two teams support each other, demonstrating the great relationship of the city.

Carlos Vela is in his final recovery period from a knee injury that has sidelined him from the soccer fields for several weeks. This problem did not stop him from taking some photos with the Los Angeles Dodgers jersey to wish them luck before the first game of the World Series.

LAFC on their Twitter account posted an image of Vela with the MLB team shirt asking for the cup to be brought to Los Angeles. In the image you can see Carlos Vela holding a baseball at Dodger Stadium followed by the phrase "bring it home for Los Angeles." It is a great campaign from the soccer team to the baseball team.
