LAFC completed a good regular season at the MLS, in which they ended seventh after playing 22 games and earning 32 points. Now they will be playing the MLC Cup Playoffs against Seattle Sounders on a very tough match. But head coach Bob Bradley is already thinking on what’s coming next.
The coach is trying to arrange some signings, after knowing that some of the young talent that his teams has may be departing, such as Diego Rossi, Brian Rodríguez Eduard Atuesta or so. But Carlos Vela, idol of the club, has also plans of getting involved in the squad building for the next season.
As it was said by British press, Vela invited his ex-companion from Arsenal Jack Wilshere to join him at LAFC. Wilshere is actually a free agent after he left West Ham on October 2020 and could be a good signing for an MLS side. But arrival may disturb the inter peace of the locker room.
Companions of Vela may be thinking that the Mexican is forming a team of friends and that one of them will have to start as a sub if such a figure as Wilshere joins. That is the reason why they don’t look with good eyes the arrival of the midfielder who played during his career at Luton, Arsenal, Bolton, Bournemouth and West Ham.
