Carlos Vela completed a great comeback after a terrible season in which he was injured during most of the time. In his third match since he came back, the Mexican attacker gave an assist and played a very good match, after just half a time in the field. Head coach Bob Bradley decided him to play 45 minutes, and he didn’t disappoint.

LAFC lost but it wasn’t a defeat that they will suffer that much. The MLS side is already qualified for the playoffs on the Western Conference and the game was useful to give some time on the field to Vela. The forward completed not just an assist but also seven dribbles, 50 touches and 18 passes.

After all, Vela wasn’t that happy for the defeat of his team, in which it was seen that his level is outstanding and that his companions sometimes are not at his level. All of this happens on days in which Vela’s transfer is rumored a lot, not also for his Mexican former club Chivas but also for other European teams.

Vela is comfortable at Los Angeles but, at the age of 31 and at the end of his career, will have to see how much time he wants to spend on the MLS. His arrival to U.S. was on January 2018, after LAFC paid more than $6 million to Real Sociedad to sign him. Previously he played at Arsenal, West Bromwich, CA Osasuna, UD Salamanca and Celta de Vigo.
