LAFC are already preparing for what may happen after Carlos Vela era ends. The Mexican idol is very comfortable at the club and, despite many clubs in the whole world want him, it is strange to think that he will be making a move soon. But, even is he stays, there will be a time in which his career reaches an end.

Vela are already 31 years old and his numbers are the one of a top player. It needs to be said that he doesn’t precisely love soccer, so there are no reasons to think that he will be playing soccer until a very advanced age. After all, he has constructed a career of a top player in Europe.

But, knowing that he won't last forever, LAFC are already thinking on who may replace him. Even though the Uruguayan Diego Rossi is a great prospect his time at the club won't last too much after his amount of goals scored and the pointed one to occupy Vela’s throne is youngster Christian Torres.

Aged 16 he was born in Florida, California, and his parents are Mexican. He highlighted since a kid in the youth academy of the team and head coach Bob Bradley gave him his very first chance to make his debut. In his last game he scored a crucial goal against Portland Timbers to give his team a tie, on Week 12 of the MLS.
