Javier Hernandez will keep trying to convince Jonathan Dos Santos to not join Club America

Javier Hernandez is not going through the best times. Dropped from Mexico national team and after a bad season with Los Angeles Galaxy, he could see his teammate and close friend Jonathan Dos Santos packing his stuff and leaving to Club America. But Chicharito is determined to not let that happen.

But Jonathan already has someone at the Mexican team. He could play again with his brother Giovani, like they did in Barcelona, Villarreal, and Los Angeles Galaxy before Gio left to Club America. Aware of this, Chicharito decided to play the card he had in his sleeve: make his desire public.

He used his Instagram (@ch14_) account to put pressure on Jonathan. The striker posted a picture of both in a Galaxy match, wrote he missed playing soccer, and tagged him. Dos Santos commented “We are together, bro. 2021 here we go”. Maybe the trick pulled by the former player of Manchester United and Real Madrid is having effect.

Hernandez arrived in Los Angeles in January after putting an end to his career in Europe, but he could not perform at the level expected from him. The team did not help, and in the Californian city they are hoping a new fresh start in 2021, where the key players stay and increase the chances of achieving a good performance.
