After a bad season with Los Angeles Galaxy and lots of criticism, Chicharito sent a message to those who doubted him and said he is not done at all in MLS.

2020 has been underwhelming for Chicharito Hernández, to say the least. He got loads of backlash after his bad year with Los Angeles Galaxy. Basically, everytime he posted something on Instagram, some hurtful comments appeared about his form on his previous matches.

But he decided to put his focus in proving these people wrong and coming back in 2021 stronger than ever. He has been since determined to be one of the top scorers of the league and fill the void Zlatan Ibrahimovic left when he came back to AC Milan last year.

And in this context, he sent a message to fans to warn them about how hard he is training and expects to tear up MLS. In an Instagram story, Chicharito Hernández was filmed running on the treadmill, and while he was doing so he told people to enjoy the process and not to be impatient, explaining them the result is a consequence of it and not the opposite. He knows how the elite sports work, so he went a step beyond and told them how necessary is the effort because they simply do not know.

This Mexican star, who played for Manchester United and Real Madrid among others, knows his performances were bad. He knows people doubt him. But he also knows he had the skills needed to be one of the best MLS players, and is training to live up to the expectations held on him when he signed for Los Angeles Galaxy at the beginning of the year. And if he is ambitious enough, he could even aim to make a return to Mexico national team, with Raúl Jiménez being out.

How was Chicharito's first MLS season with Los Angeles Galaxy

To put it bluntly, it was a disaster. The team played 22 matches and only won six, drawing four and suffering the dreadful stat of 12 losses, more than the half. Out of the last 13 matches the Californian team played, only two ended in victory. And as he knows, his performances were also bad. He played 12 matches and scored only two goals, unacceptable for a striker of his reputation.
