José Manuel de la Torre has had several jobs offers since his departure from Club Toluca, one of them and the most important according to the national coach, is the offer that the LA Galaxy of the MLS put on the table. Thanks to the relationship that Jose Manuel de la Torre has with Dennis te Kloese, who is a member of the board in the club and who was linked also to the Mexican soccer time ago, makes the arrival of Chepo de la Torre to the city of Los Angeles even more possible.

According to journalist David Medrano, the LA Galaxy officials have already had very serious talks with the Mexican coach regarding his contract with the club. De la Torre, as mentioned, already worked with Te Kloese in Chivas de Guadalajara and with the Mexican National Team. If he will reach the LA Galaxy, he will coincide again with Javier Hernández, with whom the relationship is not entirely good, due to what happened some time ago in the national team.

It is said that the strong discipline of Jose Manuel de la Torre in the Mexican National Team never went down well with the Mexican striker, so this will cause the departure of Javier Hernandez, who has been also criticized by the fans from LA due to his poor performance in this season. Jose Manuel de la Torre was not been the first Mexican coach to lead soccer in the United States, as they already were; Carlos de los Cobos, Jose Luis Sanchez Sola and Gonzalo Pineda.
