Javier Hernández has always spoke beyond soccer: the Mexican striker has expressed many times his concerns in many different aspects of life, far away from his activity. In an interview, the LA Galaxy striker has pronounced some extremely hard thoughts.

In an interview, he said he is surprised to be paid many millions as a soccer player, meanwhile, doctors and scientists who are researching for vaccines and helping people make almost zero. His social consciousness has been always a distinguishing feature on the 32-year-old.

Also, he said he finds “incredible” to be paid so much money just for practicing a sport, and at the same time, people who investigate cures for diseases and things that put the whole world on hold do not.

Finally, the Mexican striker left a wish: he expects that once world goes back to normal, all the people who live in extremely wealthy lives can learn from this, and reduce the huge inequality that the planet lives in.

His last season

Hernández is currently playing for LA Galaxy, who suffered an extremely disappointing 2020 season in MLS. The Mexican striker started 2019/20 campaign playing for West Ham United, later having a spell in Sevilla before flying to Los Angeles. He scored six goals in 29 games.
