It's in debt. Not just with the Los Angeles Galaxy fans, who were confident in his potential. But also with himself. Because Javier Hernández knows more than anyone that he had a 2020 that surely has already been forgotten. It's that he only he could see action during twelve games in which he only scored two goals. For this reason, his price lost value.

He reached Major League Soccer (MLS) with the difficult mission of replacing Swedish star Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and amid the coronavirus pandemic, added to his injuries, he could not perform as he expected. Product of these factors's that according to the specialized portal Transfermarkt, Chicharito suffered a significant drop in its market value, falling approximately the same by seven million dollars, a reflection of its 2020.

The publication points out that in December 2019, while the one trained in Chivas played in Seville of Spain, his price was nine million dollars, 365 days later, the value of the scorer is just $ 2.2 million of the US currency. A very considerable loss considering the great career he developed (he defended the colors of Manchester United and Real Madrid, among others).

And if we consider that in October 2016, defending the colors of German Bayer Leverkusen, his price reached 27.5 million dollars, it can be deduced that Chicharito's sports career is in the final stretch despite being 32 years old. So, in case Chivas de Guadalajara wants to sign him in the next transfer market, he will have to pay a sum close to 2 million dollars, which could be slightly modified up or down depending on his performance when the MLS season begins.
