Chivas is going through a very complicated moment and one of the players who was pointed out guilty by the fans on social media is José Juan Macías. The Mexican attacker couldn't perform very well in the last games and was now injured, so he will lose the game against Pumas on Week 16.
Macías could be leaving Chivas after this season, as he always cleared out his intentions to play in Europa and the club sports advisers may be negotiating him. Aged 21, the attacker has a contract remaining until June 2022, so it could be a good deal for Chivas to sell him now, before a new renewal.
Macías was formed in Chivas and left the club just once in his career, when he went to León on a loan during January and December 2019. This season he played 15 games for the team coached by Víctor Manuel Vucetich and scored five goals. In his 57 matches played at Chivas he has netted 16 balls.
If things continue this way, it would be the best for Chivas to sell the young player. Actually, according to Transfermarkt specialized website, his value is about €10 million. Many European clubs could be interested in this international player with Mexico national team and for Chivas it would be a good income.
