Inter Miami vs Los Angeles Galaxy: Chicharito Hernández received an important endorsement

The spotlights in Los Angeles Galaxy are on Javier Chicharito Hernández. The Mexican forward didn't meet expectations the previous MLS season and this Sunday the new campaign begins, where the Angelenos will visit Inter Miami. Although the historic scorer of the Mexican team didn't score during the preseason, it is expected that he will show the best version of himself in his second tournament in United States soccer.

At a press conference, the Galaxy coach, Greg Vanney, delved into the areas of opportunity that Chicharito has: "For me the most important thing in this preseason and start of the campaign is that he is involved in the actions, he has had touches regarding the rival goal, he is having balls. The main thing would be to take the fastest shot, of first intention, to finish the play, because he has the defenders on top".

"The goal situation is something that involves the whole team and on a personal level, for him, he simply has to finish faster and work on certainty, take the shot faster, but it is normal in the preseason to adjust little by little that certainty, I'm sure that will come, and the goals and opportunities will be there for him", added the coach.

Vanney confessed that it will be important to face Inter Miami in Week 1, as both franchises will fight during the year to be protagonists and go far. “It's a new era opportunity and it's more exciting that we get to play David Beckham's franchise in the first game. It's a great opportunity to have two franchises trying to be the best facing off on the opening day. I'm also excited for this group of players who have waited so long for their first game this year after a very long preseason and even more for the important game that it is. They're excited for what is coming".
