Mexicans come to MLS to be the stars of their teams and then be sold to Europe. More and more Liga MX players decide to go through MLS before going to the old continent. Today there is one of them that stand out with the rest and in addition to being able to go to Europe; he is being the key of his team to be able to dream of the MLS Cup.

Chicharito Hernandez is certainly not a candidate since this is one of the worst seasons of his career. Then we could choose Carlos Vela, but his injury did not allow him to play most of the games. Between Pizarro and Damm could be the candidate but the poor performance of their teams and the possibility of being out of the Playoff take him out of the list of winners.

The only Mexican player who may have the chance to win this award is Alan Pulido. The Sporting Kansas City player has managed to guide his team to the top. Today Sporting Kansas City is second in the western conference but with one game less than the leader Portland Timbers. Pulido has scored 7 goals and 5 assists so far this MLS season.

Pulido would also have offers from Greek football to continue his career and would be analyzing if it is the best option for his future. The player knows that if he wants to continue in the Mexican national team, he must be in a team where he is the important player and can be the leader. Pulido continues to show that he has the level to be among the best and fight for the position of any player in the Mexican national team
