FC Dallas announced their new signing for the 2020 MLS season. This is Andrés Ricaurte, who had a contract with Deportivo Independiente de Medellín. The midfielder was tempted by the offer presented by the MLS team. However, many wonder how the Texas team paid the transfer fee.

As we mentioned in a previous news item, the player had a cost of about 2.5 million. FC Dallas reached an agreement with Deportivo Independiente de Medellín to be able to pay for this transfer in two installments. The first payment will be the first half of the pass, that is, a little more than 1 million dollars, which will be deposited as soon as Andrés Ricaurte signs with FC Dallas.

The next and last payment will be made in a few months. With this strategy, the team manages to hire a midfielder who will contribute with hierarchy to the FC Dallas midfield. Andrés Ricaurte is expected to sign his contract with the team in the following hours.
