Before the arrival of Gonzalo Higuaín, Inter Miami were not doing good on this year and started to think that they wouldn't be able to qualify from the regular season. But, after Pipita came, the team improved a lot and now shows an enviable strength that put them as a candidate.

Higuaín played just four games for his new team. The start was not easy, as he missed a penalty on his debut with Philadelphia Union in a 3-0 defeat. Afterwards, his team also lost, 3-2 against New York City FC. But finally, things changed: Higuaín scored against New York RB, his team won and that result was repeated on Saturday night, with 1-0 victory against Houston Dynamo.

Inter Miami completed their first two wins in a row in the whole season and will try to extend that good present when they meet Atlanta United, on Week 18. Higuaín captained his team in this comeback in which they are protagonists of the end of the season as they are just one point away from the playoffs zone.

It was just a matter of time for Higuaín to show his best at Miami, as he proven several times in his career what he is able to do, in some European best clubs, such as Real Madrid, Juventus, Napoli, Chelsea or Milan. Now he is waiting for his brother Federico to join the team and to end the regular season in the top 10 teams.
