Hirving Lozano's Napoli start their Europa League path this season against Leicester City

The second game of the 2021/22 UEFA Europa League Group C will be played today at the King Power Stadium in England when Napoli will travel to be the guest of Leicester City and Hirving Lozano will be in action for the Italian side.

The first match of the group was played on Wednesday night and Legia Warsowia of Poland defeated Spartak Moscow 1-0 in Russia to put themselves in vantage point for qualification or at least make the UEFA Europa Conference League spot.

Napoli missed out on UEFA Champions League qualification on the final day of the 2020/21 Serie A season, hence settling for a spot in the UEFA Europa League which they are competing in for the third straight season.

Lozano, 26, joined Napoli from PSV Eindhoven in 2019 for $46.5m, a club record at that time and has become an important part of the team. He has played over 60 games and scored over 20 goals including 11 League goals last season.

He has started all three games for Napoli this season but is yet to find the net. He has a contract till June 2024 and earns £120,000 per week as one of the club's highest paid players. He will hope to help Napoli, who are favourites for the competition win it this season.
