Hirving Lozano is one of Napoli's star players and his level has the Mexican public excited.  However, on July 10, the Azzurri attacker suffered an injury that will keep him out of the field of play for a few matches.

How did Hirving Lozano get injured?

In the match against Trinidad and Tobago with the Mexican National Team, Lozano was hit in the face with the knee of the goalkeeper of the Caribbean team, which sent him to the ground and left him unconscious for several minutes.

The medical team immediately went into action to remove the striker from the AT&T Stadium pitch and replaced him with Efraín Álvarez.

Hirving Lozano was knocked down from behind and his face collided with the knee of Trinidad and Tobago goalkeeper Marvin Phillip, which caused a large wound and resulted in heavy bleeding. The Mexican winger was knocked out and the assistants were forced to enter the field.

Hrving Lozano was immediately evaluated and underwent an MRI with negative results. Regarding the eyebrow injury, Hirving Lozano needed stitches to close the area. The Mexican winger will undergo a neurological evaluation on July 12 to rule out any problems related to the brain.

The neurological exams did not show any problems in Lozano, so the Napoli player will travel back to Italy to rejoin the Azzurri and recover in Europe. The club's medical staff is also expected to keep an eye on Hirving and his progress.
