Gonzalo Higuain will don the Inter Miami CF jersey for the first time tonight when he faces the New York Red Bull at the Inter Miami CF Stadium in Fourt Lauderlade. But how did the Argentine striker fare in his debuts at his former clubs?

During his time at River Plate, Gonzalo Higuaín made his debut in 2005. On December 4 of that year he played 45 minutes against Racing Club in a 1-1 draw. The following week, he would play another 18 minutes in the 2005 Apertura Tournament. Without scoring goals and with discreet participation, Gonzalo Higuain made his presentation in world football.

In January 2007 the "Pipa" was transferred to Real Madrid for a figure close to $ 12 million. There he made his debut in the Copa del Rey where he completed 90 minutes, again without scoring goals. He stayed with the Spanish team for seven seasons, before moving on to Napoli in Italy. There he made his debut against Bologna on August 25, 2013 with a 3-0 victory for his team. Higuain played 84 minutes and scored no goals.

On August 20, 2016 he made his debut for Juventus in Italy scoring for the first time on his debut. In that match against Fiorentina he played only 24 minutes and his team won 2-1. Then he would be transferred to AC Milan where he made his debut on August 25, 2018, playing 90 minutes and without converting. His last club debut was with Chelsea in the Premier League. He played 65 minutes and his team lost 4-0 to Bournemouth.
