Gerardo Martino is already thinking on who could be the players called to Mexico national team for the next two matches that they’ll be playing, against South Korea and Japan. Even though there are some names that will for sure appear, some others aren’t that lucky for the friendlies.

Rodolfo Pizarro is one of the players that Martino is considering to axe. The offensive midfielder didn’t have a very good season with Inter Miami, as his team isn’t yet making it to the playoffs zone after 22 games played and will try to so do in their very last match, against Cincinnati.

Pizarro has been criticized by some Mexican fans, after playing 25 games for his national team since his debut on January 2014 and only scoring five goals. At the age of 26, he may be left out for the next games as a punishment for his performances not just in Mexico but also at hi club.

There are many confirmed forwards at Mexico, as Raúl Jiménez and the one that will take Pizarro’s place: Hirving Lozano. Chucky, as he is called, is playing a good season for Napoli, in which he scored four goals after seven games played and Martino will let him occupy the place of Pizarro.
