The LA Galaxy was bound to win if it still wanted to have a chance to qualify for the MLS playoffs, but that dream was thwarted at the last minute by the Seattle Sounders. Javier Hernandez could have become a hero after scoring after 10 games but a goal in the last minute ruined him. That did not take time for the Mexican forward to talk about his future in the national team.

Gerardo Martino returned to give a new list of summoned to the Mexican team and once again Chicharito Hernandez is not there. Although it was to be expected, nothing has ever been officially communicated about whether or not he will be called up to the Mexican national team. For this reason, doubts about a possible retirement of Hernandez from there grew but now the forward dedicated himself to clarifying the panorama.

Javier Hernandez made it very clear that he will always be open to return to the Mexican team if they call him to play and that the day he no longer wants to participate he will communicate it publicly. It is a great change of mentality compared to the last time he was asked about the selection since this time he indirectly warned Martino of his desire to be.

The last time Chicharito Hernandez had talked about the National Team, he had ignored it. This shows that since Barros Schelotto's departure from LA Galaxy, Javier Hernandez had a major change in attitude that would have surprised even Gerardo Martino himself. If Hernandez wants to go back to being the forward he was, this is clearly the right path.
