The MLS has signed great talent from Liga MX during the last years and one of those is Darwin Quintero. The Colombian midfielder left America on Mach 2018 to play for Minnesota United and then signed for Houston Dynamo, club in which he played since November 2019.

After a few times to adapt, Quintero finished the MLS regular season as the player with more assists in the whole league. His talent and his great conditions weren’t enough to help his team, that anyway ended in the last position on the Western Conference after earning 21 points on 23 games played.

The bad results of his team are making the midfielder think on a move. At the age of 33 his professional career is near the end and the time that he has to gain some more titles is not too much. For that reason, Quintero won’t see with bad eyes making a transfer soon.

Formed on Deportes Tolima, he also played for KS Samara, Pereira and Santos Laguna, besides America, Minnesota United and Houston Dynamo. Liga MX side America is a club in which he played during three years more than 145 games. The team could make an effort to recover him and due to the bad moment of Houston it could be a great opportunity for them.
