Cristian Pavon's performance at Los Angeles Galaxy hasn't exceeded expectations. And his market value doesn't reflect it. His clause to recruit him definetely seems to be unpayable. With a contract extended up to December 31, the Argentinean's agent started to move to define his client's future and everything is uncertain.

Guillermo Barros Schelotto was the principal person that approached Pavon to the MLS. After his defeat in the most important Superclásico of history against River Plate in the Copa Libertadores finals in 2018, the head coach left his former team, Boca Juniors, and took the right midfielder with him. After some injuries and a weak World Cup, Pavón's price got reduced and finally was sent on loan to The Galaxy.

After renewing his contract once, it is time to big decisions. And Los Angeles Galaxy would not pay the $20M clause Pavon has to recruit him definetely. Pavon doesn't want to return to Argentina and Boca Juniors would wait another offer from the MLS franchise in order to negotiate. But everything would indicate that his career at MLS is starting to end.
