After several weeks where his stay at Chelsea was even debated, American striker Christian Pulisic has returned to his best level and warned that he is ready for the final stretch of this season, which includes the UEFA Champions League, FA Cup and the last weeks of the Premier League.
In conversation with the official channels of the Blues, he acknowledged that although during the year he has presented injuries that have diminished his performance, now he feels excited to be at the disposal of the German coach Thomas Tuchel for the next challenges.
"I definitely love this part of the year when things become really important and each game can have a great influence on your final position in the season. It's the best time when everyone concentrates and the games are usually very good", he started pointing at Pulisic.
The first of the great challenges for Chelsea comes on Tuesday, April 27, when he begins his series with Real Madrid for the semifinals of the continental tournament, a tournament that he confessed he wanted to play since he was a child and that, he warned, he will fight to conquer.
"Growing up, I loved watching the Champions League and I always wanted to play in it, so in a way it feels surreal. I remember watching all of Chelsea's races, including the year they won it, but the competition, in general, It's always the most exciting, I am looking forward to those games", said Pulisic.
