A few weeks ago, an international friendly gave the idea that neither of Chelsea FC’s new arrivals would weart the number 10 shirt that Willian left vacant after his departure from the English club. In this way, Christian Pulisic’s name appeared as the ideal player to wear it and now is finally confirmed.

According to reporter Simon Johnson, Kai Havertz finally decided to use number 29, his favourite number in Bayer Leverkusen and, also, Pulisic confirmed his desirable number. The best American soccer player in actuality will play his second season at the English club.

In his season’s debut he scored 11 goals and assisted ten times his teammates after playing in 34 different games across all the competitions. Pulisic is still recovering from an injury he suffered at the FA Cup final against Arsenal FC. However, it seems he would be ready to be in the first team for the English Premier League start on Monday.
