With just a bunch of minutes, the LAFC playmaker guided his team to another victory, while Chicharito was injured and didn't play in his team defeat.

Carlos Vela proves every time he goes out to the field how talented he is. LAFC achieved another victory on Wednesday, defeating Houston Dynamo on Week 21. The Mexican entered after an hour of the game and showed his talent, guiding his team to the necessary victory.

Vela was injured during a huge part of the season, and he is getting ready for the playoffs while coming back. Last week, he scored in El Trafico against LA Galaxy and shouted his fifth goal after just seven game played this season. His numbers just prove that he is the top Mexican in the MLS.

On the other side we've got Chicharito, who is injured right now and could play in the new defeat of his team against Portland Timbers. His conflicts with head coach Guillermo Barros Schelotto are several and the team is going through one of the worst moments ever with him.

LAFC stands at the fifth position on the Wester Conference, after earning 31 points out of 20 games played. In the last two games, they'll play against San Jose Earthquakes and Portland Timbers. LA Galaxy occupies the last position, being out from the playoffs zone so far, with three games remaining, against Real Salt Lake, Seattle Sounders and Vancouver Whitecaps.
