For the first time in his long career, Mexican forward Javier Chicharito Hernández scored five goals in his first two games of the season, thanks to his hat trick in the Los Angeles Galaxy's 3-2 win over the New York Red Bulls, which has as leader of the Western Conference in Major League Soccer (MLS).

It is that the Guadalajara-born comes sweet, after his double in the first week against Inter Miami, a week later he uncovered with his first hat-trick since 2016, when he played for Bayer Leverkusen in Germany, and is currently the league's top scorer with five goals.
However, after the victory, Chicharito put cold cloths on the enthusiasm of the fans for his performance in the MLS and warned that "I want to grow and I am very passionate about that. I will grow if I push myself to the limit. This will help me in all the senses and I'm enjoying it, I don't just want to enjoy, I just want to be better".
"I'm in a completely different place. I'm in a space of responsibility and hard work. I have no excuses or anyone to blame, other than myself if things don't go as they should. I'm growing a lot, I'm pushing myself to the max, I don't want to be in any comfort zone or relax", added the Aztec.
In that sense, Chicharito clarifies that his current present cannot be compared with 2020, since LA Galaxy was also in a bad moment, and that now it is focused on "scoring again is being in that state of flow without much obsession, to be connected with the sensations, with the tranquility and give everything, as my grandfather and my father taught me".
Finally, regarding the victory against the New York Red Bulls, Hernández commented that "this is just a reminder of how hard we have worked, how great this group is to adapt and have better chemistry; these last two games have been very passionate and we have been very ambitious and resilient".
