LAFC are going to have one of the hardest matches at the start of the MLS Cup Playoffs, when facing Seattle Sounders. The team coached by Bob Bradley finished seventh on the Western Conference, after earning 32 points on 22 matches played, and will meet with the club that ended second.
The fact of facing Seattle Sounders was already a complication for them, but to that they added some bad news. After the FIFA international break of November, MLS top-scorer Diego Rossi was infected with COVID-19 and won’t be able to play the crucial game against Seattle.
Rossi traveled with Uruguay to play the World Cup Qualifiers and, despite he didn’t add any minutes on the field, he was infected. The same happened with the Ecuadorians José Cifuentes and Diego Palacios, who won’t be able either. At that panorama, Bradley will be trusting on Christian Torres.
With just 16 ages, the attacker will be Carlos Vela’s partner against Seattle. He was born at California and formed on LA Galaxy academy. On September 2018 he moved to LAFC after its creation and since then he played eight games scoring one goal. The youngster will have the big chance to replace Rossi and show his talent in a crucial game.
