LAFC won a very important game in the end of the regular season after defeating Houston Dynamo 2-1. Uruguayan striker Diego Rossi scored the first goal of the local team and Eddie Segura the second one. After this victory, LAFC stand at the 5th position on the Western Conference, securing their position in the playoffs zone.

Carlos Vela, who last week play a key role against LA Galaxy on El Trafico scoring a goal, replaced Brian Rodríguez after an hour of the match. But, this time, the Mexican attacker couldn't score in his half an hour in the field. LAFC no. 10 helped his team to achieve the victory.

But, Diego Rossi was the player taking all the flashes tonight. With his thirteen goal of the season he is now the clear candidate to gain the Golden Boot, after talking two goals of advantage from Gyasi Zardes. Rossi was absence during a bunch of games, after playing with Uruguay national team in the start of the World Cup Qualifiers.

LAFC will now be playing two last matches in the end of the regular season, against San Jose Earthquakes and Portland Timbers. Head coach Bob Bradley already talked about the importance of recovering Vela, who came back from an injury recently, and will be able to play the end of the season.
