December 22 is the day in which the great final of the Concacaf Champions League will be played. Los Angeles FC will be playing against Tigres UANL on a unique game at Exploria Stadium at Orlando, United States, that will give the next champions of the international competition.

To qualify to the final, LAFC defeated León FC, Cruz Azul and Club América, and will now try to do so with the fourth Mexican side playing against in a row. Tigres defeated Alianza FC, New York City FC and Olimpia to make their way to the big game. The tournament was interrupted due to the COVID-19 pandemic and restarted a couple of weeks ago.

The game between LAFC and Tigres will give us the big clash between two top star attackers: Carlos Vela and André-Pierre Gignac. The forwards, maybe two of the best ones in the whole continent, have already confronted themselves, but not on the field but outside it.

The Twitter account of the Concacaf Champions League (@TheChampions) asked on their social media who should take a last-minute penalty if such a thing occurred in the last minute of the final that will be played soon, between Vela and Gignac. With 1.900 votes against just 60, Gignac humiliated Vela on the preview of the match.
