A star has left from Club America in the start of 2021. He is Paul Aguilar, who considered at his 34 years that the Liga MX side mistreat him and decided to depart on January 1. The defender was offered a renewal of his contract of just a few days, until the end of the Concacaf Champions League, and considered that a disrespect.

Born in Concordia, Mexico, Aguilar was formed in CF Pachuca and during his career he just played for Indios, as well. To America, he arrived on July 2011 and since then he played a decade in the club. He had 357 appearances in all these years, scoring 14 goals and giving 31 assists.

After his era at America ended, many Liga MX teams considering interesting to call him and give him the opportunity to retire with them. But it seems to be nowadays that Aguilar is considering another option, as Bolavip reported that he has received an offer to join the MLS side Los Angeles FC.

 

Even though there are some other offers from MLS sides, as the ones from Inter Miami or Austin FC, it is said that he will be joining Carlos Vela at LAFC. Aguilar could then move to the semifinalist of the Concacaf Champions League and try helping them to gain their first title on their history.
