Carlos Vela ended another season without a title at the MLS. The Mexican had a very hard campaign, in which he missed many games after suffering an injury, but came back in the very end of the season in a good form. After all, in the first round of the MLS Cup Playoffs, his team was eliminated.

Seattle Sounders won 3-1 and sent LAFC out in the Western Conference. The hard work from the Mexican attacker recover wasn’t enough for his team. The forward missed a penalty but gave an assist and has one of the most dangerous players from his side, even though he didn’t have a great match.

During the minutes after the game, local media rumored that Vela could be finally leaving LAFC after more than two years. At the age of 31 he knows that there won’t be many other possibilities of gaining a title as the one he had today and that make him think that he could be leaving.

Vela plays since January 2018 on LAFC, when the MLS side signed him for more than $5 million from Real Sociedad. Previously, he played for Chivas formed club, Arsenal, Celta de Vigo, UD Salamanca, CA Osasuna, West Bromwich and Real Sociedad. The next hours will be key to know what his decision regarding his future will be.
