Carlos Vela is superb at the MLS and now the fans of a European club want him as their star signing
The Mexican star is at an incredible form at LAFC and a European side wants him back.
Carlos Vela is going through a very good moment. The Mexican attacker had some issues this year, after being injured during a long period of time, but came back and proved everyone that he is a top player. After some games played since his comeback and with the MLS Cup Playoffs remaining, there is a European side looking at him.
Fans from Real Sociedad, Spanish club where Vela played, are willing him back. They assure on social media that his team, that is at a very good moment, will do even better with Vela. Real Sociedad are currently at the top of La Liga, after 17 points gained on eight games played.
Vela played for the Spanish side first on a loan from Arsenal, on 2011/12, and afterwards when the club signed him paying more than $15 million to the English club on August 2012. He played there six years, before leaving to LAFC. For Real Sociedad he had 250 appearances, 73 goals scored and 44 assists.
Currently, he is one of the most expensive Mexican players in the world, despite his age. In this season, he could only play seven games (five from MLS and two from Concachampions) and he scored five goals (three on MLS and two at Concachampions). After all, Vela is very comfortable at LA, but Real Sociedad fans dream with his comeback.
