LAFC is getting ready for the MLS Cup Playoffs in which they will have the hard work to face Seattle Sounders, one of the most complicated teams on the league. The side coached by Bob Bradley achieved 32 points after 22 games played and finished seventh to qualify to the next round.

But despite the enthusiasm that their fans have, LAFC have received a terrible notice during the last hours that make them think they will have a very hard time on their next match and which made Carlos Vela explode. The Mexican idol was expecting companion that he finally won’t have to face Seattle Sounders.

During the FIFA international break, the last one of the year, three players got COVID-19 and won’t be able to play. They are Diego Rossi, José Cifuentes and Diego Palacios. All players traveled to South America to play the World Cup Qualifiers and tested positive. They’ll now stay at their country doing the quarantine until they recover.

Losing Rossi is a terrible thing for LAFC, as the striker was in a tremendous moment, after finishing as the MLS top-scorer of the regular season and being a clear candidate to gain the MVP award as well. As local press report, Vela got mad as the three players lost didn’t play a single minute with their national teams but got infected and won’t be available now.
