Controversy had been instaled lately about last season's MVP Carlos Vela. The Mexican will be out of the league until October due to a left knee injury. Moreover, soccer fans, specially at his home nation, continuously send rejection mesagges about his private life. A few time ago, he admited he didn't like soccer and he prefered basketball. Yesterday, in Los Angeles Clippers match Kawhi Leonard had a great match at the NBA's playoffs. However, his unescumbured personality about game inmediately was asocciated with Vela's behaviour.
Los Angeles Football Club is missing Vela. In last night's game against Seattle Sounders, his absence was notorious and his team finally got defeated by 3-1. Nevertheless, the Mexican offensive midfielder does not seem to take much care of it as he made it clear the place soccer has in his life.
Leonard, two times MVP of NBA Finals, expresses the same behaviour in field and in life. In this way, two question appear obvious to ask: Are professional athletes well protected? How can they openly state that they don't like what they do? Social newtorks brought the answer. Just a bunch of tweets that made this curious comparison.
