The salary offered, stability, and peace of mind for his family were some of the reasons why the 2018 FIFA World Cup champion came to Inter Miami CF. However, there is a risk the player took upon reaching MLS. 

Inter Miami CF is a team starting in MLS, a process that may take years to complete to make history in the competition. Blaise Matuidi is aware of that; for this reason, he knows that his position in the France National Soccer Team is in danger if he does not show excellent performance with his team in the future.
