Barcelona's strategy to sign Alex Andrade ahead of Manchester City

Young Mexican soccer player Alex Alcalá has one of the most promising futures in Aztec soccer. The 15-year-old is being compared to Argentinean star Lionel Messi, will sign with his compatriot Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez's Los Angeles Galaxy and is wanted by Manchester City and Barcelona.

Alex is originally from Stockton, California and, despite being born in the United States, has Mexican nationality thanks to his parents. In addition, the youngster has already decided to represent the Tricolor as a soccer player, although Team USA does not lose hope of having him among the ranks of the Stars and Stripes.

The Mexican, just 1.50 meters tall, has dazzled at Stockton TLJ FC Rebels, the training club where he developed in football. In addition, several teams around the world have followed in his footsteps due to his extraordinary technical quality. Alcalá has already proven himself in the basic forces of the Tuzos del Pachuca in Mexico and in the Masia of Barcelona. 

However, another big European team has set its eyes on him. Barcelona of Spain is analyzing the possible future contract of the young Maxicana promise.  For the time being, Alex Alcalá will continue to play for the Los Angeles Galaxy, one of the teams with the most Mexicans in the MLS.
