Austin FC is waiting patiently to make their start on the MLS. Looking with good eyes what Nashville SC is doing on the MLS Cup Playoffs, the recently born side is looking forward to imitating next year that performance. In order to do so, they have already been working hard.

With a squad that is yet to be completed, Austin has already announced the signing of a top player who may be giving the fans a lot of happiness. He is the Paraguayan attacker or offensive midfielder Cecilio Andrés Domínguez, who was born in the land of Miguel Almirón and want to imitate the performances of his compatriot in the U.S.

Domínguez was formed at Club Sol de América, from where he played as a professional for the first time on 2012. Two years later he left to Nacional and then passed to Cerro Porteño. 2017 was the first time he left his country, as in January he signed with Club America for $6 million.

Independiente contracted him on 2019 and, after a year, he left to Club Guaraní. Austin signed him, but until they make their official debut he is playing at the Paraguayan side. This season, he scored five goals and gave two assists in 13 matches played, being one of the best players in his side.
