Nashville Soccer Club achieved its second victory in the MLS. In the new franchises confrontation, Panamian Aníbal Godoy scored to give his team priceless three points. The 30-year-old midfielder is living in a dream as he has a soccer heritage and he always wanted to live as a proffesional player.
The passion for soccer is in his veins. His father played for Plaza Amador and his grandfather was selected in the Panama National Team in 1960s. Godoy's story was directly linked with the most popular sport in the world. His family was essential in his development as they oblied him to have good grades at school besides his dream.
After a 13-year career Godoy could travel the world thanks to soccer. His attitude has been a distinguished virtue in his career. He played for six years at Chepo FC, one season at Godoy Cruz from Argentina, two years in Hungary and finally arrived to MLS five years ago to play for San José Earthquakes. This year he landed in Nasvhile SC where certainly is a fundamental figure at his team.
