André-Pierre Gignac is thinking on what he will be doing in his future. The French attacker doesn’t yet know if he will continue at Tigres and there are now several chances for him leaving. The reason is the latest defeat against Cruz Azul, with which his side was eliminated from the tournament Guard1anes.

The forward has always said how much he wants to win a title with Tigres, but is now thinking that if such a thing doesn’t occur soon, he may be leaving. One last chance that he will give himself is the Concacaf Champions League, in which Tigres will face New York City FC.

If a bad result takes place and his club is eliminated, that might be the end of Gignac at the Mexican team. He is playing there since July 2015, when he arrived as a free agent after leaving Olympique Marseille. 240 matches, 139 goals and 33 assists later, he is thinking of leaving.

MLS has always appeared as an option for Gignac. There he could be earning a fortune, something interesting for him considering that he is in his last years as a professional soccer player. His contract with Tigres ends on June 2021 and the chances of his continuing are linked to the next results of the team
