Alan Pulido is going through one of the best moments of his professional career. The attacker is playing at Sporting Kansas City and completed a good regular season at the MLS. The bad news for him are that at the arrival of the MLS Cup Playoffs he suffered an injury and couldn’t play the game in which his team defeated San José Earthquakes.

The Mexican attacker is yet trying to go back and play the next match, against Minnesota United FC for the Western Conference semifinals but doesn’t yet know if he will be able to. Meanwhile, head coach Peter Vermes replaced him, and he is not being missed.

Pulido has a contract remaining until December 2023 with SKC, but rumors indicate that he may be leaving before that date. At Liga MX there are some clubs interested on signing him and, if things don’t advance in a good way for him at the MLS, the chance of returning is always an option.

Formed at Tigres, the attacker left the Mexican league on January of this year, when Chivas received an offer of $9 million for him. During the last hours it was reported an interest from Monterrey for the forward but if things don’t thrive at SKC we may think that the return to Chivas could also be a good option.
