Rodolfo Pizarro triumphed in Mexico for several years, being in the best teams such as Club de Fútbol Pachuca, Club Deportivo Guadalajara, and Club de Fútbol Monterrey. A few months ago, he had the decision to stay in Mexico or move to Europe or MLS. The player decided to choose the Inter Miami CF project, which brought criticism.

Míchel González, a former Spanish coach at Club Universidad Nacional, roundly criticized the arrival of Rodolfo Pizarro to MLS. The coach stated that currently, MLS does not have the level to grow the player.

Despite this, Rodolfo Pizarro must bear in mind that Europe has had a direct link with MLS for years, for which, many will argue, he did not set back in his career. The following months will be crucial in the new project chosen by the midfielder, Inter Miami CF, establishing a foothold in MLS.
