Xavi's reaction to rumors of two of his players moving to PSG

While Xavi's time in charge of Barca is ending, he is optimistic about competing for La Liga this season.

Xavi spoke about what the team needs to improve ahead of tomorrow's game and next week's Champions League game against Napoli. Xavi said, "What do we have to improve? What we are trying to do is to correct individual mistakes so that we can be at the highest level and win. We have to improve between now and the end of the season. It won't be down to attitude and commitment."

Another discussion this week has Barca fans talking about is the rumors of Frenkie De Jong leaving the club this summer. Xavi did not want to answer if De Jong was leaving and said everyone on the team was focused on what was ahead in the schedule. Xavi said, "Frenkie de Jong's departure? Frenkie is a very important player, and he is happy at the club. This is not the time to talk about this. There are four months of the season left, and we are not talking about departures. We are thinking about La Liga and the Champions League."

Another rumor was that PSG is now targeting to sign Gavi this summer to build a stronger team. This rumor arrived as Kylian Mbappe reportedly told PSG he will be leaving the club. Xavi quickly denies it and says, "Gavi to PSG rumors? Gavi must stay. For me there is no colour. Gavi has to be the Barça of the future."
