Vinícius Júnior was the standout star at the 2024 Globe Soccer Awards, where the Real Madrid forward claimed the prestigious titles of Best Player and Best Forward of the Year. The ceremony, held in Dubai (United Arab Emirates), recognized his outstanding performances on the field over the past year.

In his acceptance speech, Vinícius expressed his gratitude, saying, "I’m very happy to be here, receiving this award surrounded by such great players. I have to thank Real Madrid, my teammates, and all the people who have worked with me to help me reach this level. Cristiano and Neymar were my idols when I was young, when I started playing football. To hear their words today is an honor."

The Brazilian star continued his speech by reflecting on the significance of the award. "Receiving this award as the best player of the year is truly flattering. I want to thank my family and my teammates, those who helped me reach the top. I’m very grateful to all these people, without whom I wouldn’t be here. Also, thank you to Globe Soccer Awards for this honor. I will keep working hard to improve,” Vinícius affirmed.
