"When I was little I was a member of Celtic, but now because of the connection with Gerrard I am neutral there. I would say that my other favorite team is Barça. I feel that they have the same values and beliefs as Liverpool."

When commenting on this, he was asked if he had thought about going to play for Barcelona, and this he replied: "It's not something I've thought about.
