New reports suggest that PSG are expected to revive their interest in Manchester City's 24-year-old Argentina striker Julian Alvarez this summer as his current market value is worth $96 million. If PSG is to negotiate a deal with Manchester City for the signing of Alvarez this summer, the French club would have to pay more than $120 million for the Argentine striker. Alvarez joined Manchester City in January 2022 and made his debut in the 2022/2023 season.

Alvarez's contract with Man City expires in 2028, but his performances with limited minutes have impressed big teams like PSG and Real Madrid. PSG is even more interested since it is likely that Kylian Mbappé will leave this summer to join Real Madrid next season. Alvarez is often on the bench as the starting striker position belongs to Erling Haaland, but because of the injuries the Norwegian had this season, Alvarez has played more as a striker and in a different role.

This season, the Argentine made 46 appearances in all competitions. He has scored 16 goals and has provided 13 assists this season. He has eight goals and nine assists in the Premier League after 31 games played. He has played a total of 95 games for Manchester City since he arrived two years ago. He has scored 33 goals and provided 18 assists throughout his Manchester City career so far.
