The highest-paid player at Bayer Leverkusen is Alejandro Grimaldo, who earns $6.4 million a year, according to Capology.com. Ronaldo's contract with Leverkusen would be a big different compared to Grimaldo's.

Before joining Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia, Ronaldo earned $31 million a year at Manchester United two years ago, and this would be the salary he could earn at Leverkusen. Bayer Leverkusen's yearly team salary is worth $68.1 million, according to Capology.com. As Grimaldo tops the list for the top earner, Patrik Schick earns $6.4 million as well, and it doesn't seem that any player could earn over $10 million except for Ronaldo. The Portuguese striker would take a huge pay cut, but his hunger for more greatness in Europe, including winning another Champions League, could lead to him joining, regardless of the money.
