Cristiano Ronaldo and the Portuguese national team are preparing for the EURO 2024, and they will be staying in an exclusive hotel that is popular among athletes around the world. EURO 2024 will be held in Germany, and the Portuguese national team will be staying at the Hotel Residence Klosterpforte in Marienfeld. The hotel is in a village that is an hour away from Dortmund and is near a forest, the Teutoberg Forest. The luxurious hotel has two ‘FIFA standard’ football fields, a fully equipped gym, an indoor spa, and a swimming pool. It has 153 rooms and suites inside the hotel and is highly reviewed by tourists and Germans in the area. Ronaldo and Portugal will be traveling to Leipzig, Dortmund, and Gelsenkirchen during the EUROS 2024 group stages. Portugal will be playing the Czech Republic, Turkey, and Georgia.

The hotel website described the pitches on their facilities and it read, “Next to our hotel premises you will find our sports grounds with ‘excellent’ FIFA pitches. Portugal will first play against the Czech Republic on June 18th at the Red Bull Arena Leipzig. Their second group stage game will be against Turkey on June 22nd at the Signal Iduna Park. Their final match in the group stage will be against Georgia on June 26th at the Veltins Arena. Portugal is the favorite of the group, but if they don’t finish first or second, they could still advance to the knockout stages if they finish third and are among the best third-placed teams in the tournament.

Cristiano Ronaldo will be key for the EUROS

Portugal national team manager Roberto Martinez talked about potentially playing with two strikers at the EURO 2024 and Cristiano Ronaldo being one of them. Martinez said, “We all know that Cristiano is unique. He is the only player to have played in five Euro tournaments. We can play with two strikers. We have done that in the past. But I think it’s good to see our strikers getting minutes and preparing for the Euros.”
