Cristiano Ronaldo could potentially leave Al Nassr to meet up with his former Real Madrid teammate Xabi Alonso next season at Bayer Leverkusen. Alonso is the current manager of Bayer Leverkusen, and he is reportedly interested in bringing in the Portuguese striker to the Bundesliga champions next season. Ronaldo's contract with Al Nassr expires next year but if the Portuguese decides to leave Saudi Arabia, he could consider a move to Germany instead of joining Inter Miami with Lionel Messi.

Ronaldo is rumored to leave Saudi Arabia soon because of the issues he's faced with referees and opposition fans. The Portuguese striker may feel underappreciated for helping the Saudi Pro League grow over the past year, and many stars from the big European leagues have joined after Ronaldo signed for Al Nassr in early 2023.

Other options other than Xabi Alonso's Bayer Leverkusen are the Portuguese league with FC Porto or Sporting Lisbon, his former boyhood club. Sources in Saudi Arabia suggested that a Portuguese club is showing interest in Ronaldo, and he should leave Al Nassr this summer or next. Many assume it to be Sporting CP since the connection between the club and the player is strong.
