Former Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos went under the spotlight in the last few hours in Sevilla’s visit to Real Madrid in Santiago Bernabeu for the twenty-sixth day of the 2023/2024 La Liga season.

The Spanish player, who returned to the Real Madrid stadium for the first time since he left the club to join PSG in 2021 as a free agent in the market, is considered one of the most successful and important players in the Whites’ history, with four Champions League titles won with the Madrilean giant in his stage at the institution.
In this sense, despite he was hailed by the Real Madrid fans before the game where the Whites defeated 1-0 to Sevilla, he could complete a new betrayal against the Madrilean team, by persuading one of the main stars of the Spanish giant to join Sevilla in the summer transfer window.
The Andalusian team has lost some important players in the last few seasons such as Rakitic or Bono, who left the club to join the Saudi Pro League with Al Shabab and Al Hilal respectively following lucrative offers, but they could have a new star in the team if Sergio Ramos achieves his goal of stealing a top player to Real Madrid.

This player would be none other than the 38-year-old Croatian midfielder Luka Modric, who according to the Spanish sporting journal AS was talking to Sergio Ramos during the game facing Real Madrid and Sevila, as the Spanish defender would want their former teammate to become the new Rakitic of Sevilla by joining the club as a free agent. At the moment, Modric hasn’t said anything on his future, but Real Madrid wouldn’t present any opposition to his exit, as the club considers he has gained the right to decide his next step after having given sensational years to the club.
