Manchester United youngster settles GOAT debate in recent livestream

This Man United youngster decides who he believes is the best player between Messi and Ronaldo

This Manchester United player answers the question of who the GOAT of football is.

Many football fans and players have argued their opinions on Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. Messi and Ronaldo are arguably the two greatest football players of all time. Most of Messi’s teammates back him as the greatest player in the world, and Ronaldo's teammates do the same.

Many wonder if they say it to be loyal to their friend or if they really mean it. One player that many football fans are interested in hearing their opinion is Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho. The young United winger was born in Madrid, Spain, and has expressed his admiration for Cristiano Ronaldo.

The player celebrates like him, performing a “SIU” celebration whenever he scores for Manchester United. He used that celebration when he scored that incredible bicycle kick against Everton in the 3-0 away win at Goodison Park in late November.

The interesting thing about Garnacho is that he switched international allegiance to Argentina in 2022. He is available to play in the Argentina national team and played alongside Lionel Messi in a friendly against Australia, where Argentina got a 2-0 victory.

Garnacho admires both and couldn't decide on which player to choose. In a live stream with popular streamer iShowSpeed before the Tottenham game, Garnacho was asked who he thinks is the GOAT of football.

Garnacho doesn't want to admit who he thinks is the best between Messi and Ronaldo

Having shared the pitch with both players, Garnacho couldn't give a specific answer. The Argentine admires both and shows respect for the two players. “They [are] both great, bro, they [are] both great.” Leonardo Paredes, an Argentina international, mentioned Garnacho’s admiration of Ronaldo being discussed at the Argentina National team camp.

Paredes spoke to DSports, saying, “He [Garnacho] is very shy and does not answer. Poor guy, we drove him crazy. I think he [Ronaldo] is his idol; he always followed him a lot, and he plays quite similar. Obviously, when he comes to the national team, he has to change a little bit because there is ours [Messi].”
